COVID19

Please do not call the surgery if you have a general query regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.  Instead please look on the NHS Inform Website or use the national helpline 0800 030 8013 which is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.

If you have a new cough, fever, loss of taste/smell or are awaiting results of a COVID test, please DO NOT ATTEND the surgery. We are currently operating a telephone triage and if you need to be seen the GP will arrange this. Please wear a face covering if you attend the practice.

ALL PRESCRIPTIONS SHOULD BE COLLECTED FROM A NOMINATED CHEMIST, NOT THE SURGERY.

From 1st May 2019, the Practice will be closed for staff training on the 1st Wednesday of each month, between 11.45am - 1.15pm. If you need a doctor urgently during this time, please call 9429494 and select option 1.

Home Visits

Doctor's bagWhilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible. In this respect, if you do need a home visit, you can help us by calling reception before 09:00.

Home visits are a considerable use of GP time. We can often see 4 to 5 patients at the surgery in the time it takes to see a single patient at home.

You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or are too ill to visit the practice. Your GP will only visit you at home if they think that your medical condition requires it and will also decide how urgently a visit is needed. Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
